THOSE ROOTED AND GROUNDED IN THE WORD WILL RECOGNIZE THE FALSE PROPHETS WHEN THEY COME

Those of you who spend a great deal of time watching Christian televison or listening to Christian radio will attest there is no shortage of media prophets on the air today.  How are we to know which ones are real and which ones  come as ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing?  Being a blogger for a Christian theme blog, I am being sent things in my email from readers and friends asking my opinion on a variety of things; one of which is sometimes a  prophetic message given to someone in hopes of spreading it via the Internet.  In the Sermon on the Mount, Mathew 7:15-20,  Jesus warns us to beware of false prophets.  How are we to know them?  According to Jesus, "We are to know them by their fruit."

What is a prophet?  Being a prophet is not neccessarily someone who fortells the future.  A prophet is a proclaimer of truth;  a person who speaks for others.  Many of the people today are of the misconception that it is only a person who fortells of certain events is a prophet; for example, the destruction of the World Trade Towers on September 11, 2001.  There were a number of people who made this prediction, one of which  was Tom Clancy in his book, THE SUM OF ALL FEARS, in a strikingly similar scenario where radical Islamic jihadists crashed planes into the World Trade Towers.  Of course, when Hollywood got into making the book into a movie, the bad guys were Neo Nazis, not Islamic jihadists. This prediction was relatively easy to make since there was a prior attempt to bring down the towers in 1992. The point here is, that it is easy for someone who made this prediction to be sucked into the belief that he or she is a prophet; and I know of one such self proclaimed prophet who has done just that.  Most of his other predictions have either failed to take place, or were completely wrong to start with.  He is now circulating via the Internet a prophetic message concerning the current President of the United States.  While his prophesy is a possibility, it is diametrically opposed by others who do not shout out the fact that they are prophets,by consensus that the opposite will happen. The reason why they have not shouted their message is that they feel if they did, it would hurt the person whom the prophesy concerns, causing ridicule and fuel for criticism, something this person doesn't need at this time. I did a little checking into this particular prophet and found that his track record was not very good.  It seems that you only hear of the predictions that he got right and not the ones he didn't. Most prophets who stick their necks out with times and dates usually end up regretting their decision to go public with their prophesy. Even people like Benny Hinn and Rod Parsley.  Does this mean that they are false prophets?  No.  It means they are  human and like everyone else, they can be presumptive, they can misspeak and they can be wrong. The Apostle Paul mentions on more than one ocassion how the tongue can get us into trouble if we are not careful.

The false prophet is one who uses deception to mislead, and often leads away from the Word of God, in the arena of cultism for power or money.  Jim Jones, the so called spiritual leader of the 909 people who drank the kool aide laced with cyanide, in a mass suicide in Jonestown, Guyana, in South America, back 1978 was probably the best known false prophet that I know about in my lifetime.  Jones, whose ministry, Peoples Temple Agricultural Project  headquartered  in San Francisco, at one time, was operating under the guise of the Gifts of the Spirit in gathering his believers. 

In researching this article, I went on the Internet to find references to what a modern day false prophet may look like. There is an over abundance of websites whose sole purpose is to expose false prophets. According to one site I visited, anyone who has a television program is a false prophet;  people like, Joyce Meyer, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Fred Price, T.D. Jakes, Joel Osteen, John Hagee, and scores of others whom I have a great deal of respect.  This site doesn't give the person's name who is making these charges, but he is just one of many such bloggers or webmasters that have this opinion.  Frankly, there are times when I think there is a little too much show biz associated with a particular TV program, however, there are a lot of good, well meaning people in the ministry who have at one time or another put their foot in their mouth.  That goes for myself as well and certainly most everyone who stands behind a pulpit every Sunday.

WORRY CAUSES PREMATURE AGING AND IS BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH

Worry is a destructive force. It causes you to get old before your time and is bad for your health. Psychologists will tell you, people worry mostly about things out of fear and uncertainty, and ninety percent of what they worry about doesn't happen and the other ten percent there's nothing they can do about it anyway; so why worry?





There is plenty of cause for worry here today, in our time. The political situation is on the verge of chaos, our economy is on the course for total collapse. An economic depression looms in the background waiting for the right moment to manifest itself. Many people have been laid off, and some have lost their jobs because the company they worked for has gone under. There are a lot of people with maxed out credit cards tied to their mortgages who are now in default and are facing foreclosure on their homes and bankruptcy. To add to this economic misery, they are being harassed by bill collectors, so much so they are afraid to answer the phone. Most of you know someone who is in this predicament.




There is a man whom God has raised up into a full time ministry and he's gotten rich off of it. His name is Dave Ramsey and you can listen to him everyday on News Talk 640am WGST from 3 to 6 pm daily. Before you jump to conclusions, Dave Ramsey makes it perfectly clear here; it is no sin to be rich. I don't know why it is that some people think you have to take a vow of poverty in order to get into the Kingdom of Heaven. Concerning the tithe, giving ten percent of our first fruits to God lets Him know right off the top where your heart is. When you tithe, it opens the windows of Heaven where God can pour out a blessing for you more abundantly than you can ask or think. It doesn't matter what the amount is. Jesus illustrated this in the story of Widow and her mite, giving not out of the abundance like the Phariasees did, but she gave all that she had. Dave is adament in including the dicipline of tithing in your financial makeover. The beautiful thing about tithing is, that you get it all back plus a lot more. Don't make the mistake of tithing just to get more money to add to your bank account. God blesses us so that we can be a blessing, a giver, to others so that His Covenant can be established in the earth.

In the Sermon on the Mount, Mathew 6:25-31, Jesus said,



25: Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26: Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? 28: And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29:Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30: If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31: So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?32: For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33: But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34: Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Part of Dave Ramsey's testimony that twenty years ago he was on the bottom looking up. He had declared bankruptcy and lost everything he had. In his book The Total Money Makeover, Dave tells his amazing story on how he was completely broke and became a multi-millionaire. His books and Financial Peace University Course and classes have helped millions to get debt free.

This is not an infomercial for Dave Ramsey and I don't receive a cent in advertising for him. This is the real deal. One thing I want to leave with you; in order for the Plan to Financial Freedom to work, you and your spouse have to make a quality decision and be in total agreement together. You will have to make some lifestyle changes and sacrafices, however these things are only temporary, and in most cases, you can be debt free in five years or less. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER, IGNORANCE IS A CURSE

One of the most disturbing scenes I witnessed on television news last fall just before the 2008 elections was the kind of answers that were given by Barack Obama supporters when asked why they were supporting him? I vividly recall one lady saying that he was going to get her a new house. Another said he was going to get health care and yet Another said that he was going to save her house by forgiving the debt she owed on the mortgage. Almost everyone that was interviewed gave similar answers; after all, they were promised hope and change and they were expecting to receive something in exchange for their vote. Barack Obama was elected President of the United States. He's been in office for nine months and he has failed to deliver on any of his promises. Where is the hope and change now?

That's the way it is when governments try to supplant God as their source for the people. The government does not produce anything; they can only take away from others and give to someone else in the form of taxation and wealth redistribution; taking from those who earned it and giving it to those who did do nothing to earn it. This is called Socialism, and Marxism is an embellishment of Socialism in that it takes control of everything from health care, education, even the factories and manufacturing plants, where you work, where you live, and what kind of car you drive. When a person is on the bottom rung of the economic ladder, it is easy for them to be manipulated into embracing this ideology and depend on the government to provide for them from cradle to the grave. This time, however, those in power have been exposed and a resistance has been coalescing and is getting stronger every day.

In the early 1960's, when US President Lyndon Baines Johnson was in office, he introduced the so called Great Society where poverty would come to an end in this country. The Great Society became the largest Socialist giveaway program in history, over ten trillion dollars. Poverty did not end and The Great Society was a massive failure. Instead, it became a monstrous comfort zone for people who had little to no ambition, or any inclination to do anything to help themselves. The tragic results of this wasteful entitlement program are immeasurable in terms of literal destruction of the black family; the emasculated father figure as the provider in the home was replaced when the government stepped in to take his place. Until that time in the mid-sixties, it was the largest transfer of wealth in the history of the country. The awful reaction from this flawed social program is the condition that is prevalent today in our inner cities, where poverty, drug and alcohol addiction, and street kids from fatherless families run in gangs in neighborhoods where crime runs rampant. They are not taught the lessons in how to live life, but are taught where to go to receive their handouts. . Thus, a class of government dependants has emerged whom the Democrat Party depends, designed to keep themselves in power in our cities by receiving in one huge block vote made up of welfare recipients, bureaucrats and special interest groups. Meanwhile, thousands of male children grow up not being equipped in how live life, but find themselves locked up in prison, where the number of young black males outnumber those that are enrolled in college. Their class envy and life of crime is fueled by coveteness, finding themselves in a hopeless world of lack and poverty in the midst of a world of plenty This is of course is not what the Socialists who masterminded this plot intended, and their answer always is that the programs are underfunded.

Of course, it is these limousine Liberals who have all the best intentions who inconvenience themselves once or twice a year, usually at Thanksgiving and Christmas, who in order to make themselves feel good, go to the homeless shelters and serve their fellow human beings in the food lines. I'm not pointing the finger at those of you who care for your fellow man year round, but those who wear the little ribbons on their lapels, and you have seen them on TV on the award shows, silently proclaiming that I care more than you do because I'm wearing this ribbon. Jesus, Himself, was aware of this when he saw the Pharisees standing in the market place praying out loud for all to see how devout they were. The one thing that angered Jesus the most was their hypocrisy, and I don't have to tell you of the overwhelming abundance of hypocrisy on the Left.

Our country right now is in turmoil, bordering on chaos politically. Not since the War Between the States has there be such a division among the people. As our Legislative branch has been taken over by the Left, a super majority in the House of Representatives and a filibuster proof Senate, and a radical Left wing president who is filling appointee positions with as many radical extremists he can. Now, the opposition has the potential of pushing onto us any state sponsored program without any help from our side. Our judicial system has become corrupt and the economic outlook is bleak, with a full blown depression waiting for the right moment to manifest itself. We are in danger of becoming at least a Socialist country while the rest of the world is trying to rid itself of socialism, or worse, a Marxist country where the government controls everything. The bailouts are the first step in the takeover and largest power grab in American history.

Would you have thought a year ago that all this would happen here, in this of all countries? Many of us did see this coming because about 48% of us knew what we were up against. The other 52% got caught up in the fervor of a promise of hope and change, and a new direction, not taking into consideration what direction that would be. Many people voted for the first time, a lot of college students, the so called enlightened ones, who have been indoctrinated by the liberal institutes of higher learning which have been co opted by the Left. The big three broadcast news networks did not carry out their responsibilities as journalists and look into the background of all the candidates objectively. Had they, we would not have an enigma of a man as President, a man who hides all the things that we as citizens have the right to know. We even have doubts if this man is even qualified to be President because he has yet to provide a legal, birth certificate to show that indeed he is a citizen of the United States.

Most of us, Christians, whom those on the Left label Right Wing Extremists now find ourselves having to fight, showing resistance to the move that is going on in Washington to turn this nation from the godly nation that our founding fathers intended into a secular, godless, and classless society. A lot of us are fearful that the Left is winning and our outlook is dismal at best. However, there is a rainbow on the horizon. Serious divisions are cropping up in the Democrat party. There are Conservatives within the Democrats, called Blue Dogs, who have thrown a monkey wrench into the plans of the Speaker of the House Pelosi and Senate where they are forced to go it alone and use the nuclear option, a simple up or down vote to push these gigantic Socialist programs through. Once the nuclear option is implemented and it fails, there will be a general house cleaning within the Democrat Party with the leftists being thrown out of office.

Recently polling data has shown that the people in California, the state where the Speaker is from, has only a 33 percent approval rating, which means she can be defeated in next year's election. Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader from Nevada probably will not be reelected. The chances for Republicans to win back the House and at least a sizable number of seats in the Senate are very good, provided they can keep Acorn out of it and voter fraud at a minimum.

For those godless, secular humanists who want to eliminate God from our foundation as a country and rewrite the US Constitution, God has a word for them. A PRAYER FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

A lot of God's people are afraid. Many are without employment and are dependant upon the government to provide for them during this period; some for the first time in their lives. Many feel betrayed; were promised "hope" and "change," getting the change, but not what they expected, and certainly not what they hoped for. The future looks bleak as they are beginning to see that they have been deceived, lied to, and their hope is being dashed by broken promises and promises that were never intended to be kept. Many of them are losing their homes and some are watching their life savings and retirement plans evaporate right before their eyes. Real fear is starting to grip them as they feel their country is being stolen from them, while their leaders are telling them that the worst is over and it's getting better; just give them time to fix it.





The country is more divided now than anytime since the War Between the States. There are those of us who are trying to preserve our heritage which was founded on Godly principles and there are those on the other side who want tear down what we have stood for and fought for for 230 plus years, and remake it into something completely opposite of what we believe and what the founders intended. Our Lord was adamantly clear when He said, "a country divided against itself cannot stand." We are in a war, many call it a culture war, but really it isn't a war of flesh and blood, but a war being fought in the spiritual realm. The Apostle Paul wrote about this in his letter to the Ephesians. "We war not against flesh and blood, but of the rulers, against the powers, against the principalities of darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12





Since we are to fight this war in the spiritual realm, we have been provided by Our Lord the spiritual weapons we are to use. Our main weapon is prayer, and when used collectively, it becomes a mighty force that can overtake anything, anybody, anywhere. Our main problem is seeing the manifestation of prayer, and that can be disheartening if we don't see results right away. The reason being, we don't understand how God works, and sometimes, the results come at us piece meal or in stages. For the most part, we can't see the forest for all the trees or the entire picture and of course all this depends on what we are praying for. Simple prayers usually get simple answers and quick results. Other, more complicated prayers require setup, for example, one thing has to happen before something else can happen. All in all, God answers prayer as long as we stand in faith believing, but works in His own time and his own way. Also, the number of people you have united in faith believing has a great deal to do with how prayers are answered. In my own case, back in 1996, I lay near death in a coma on a heart pump. The doctors had no hope of me surviving my second major heart attack. However, prayer chains from all over began praying for me, and perhaps as many as a thousand people at one time were praying for me. I survived long enough to get a heart transplant which I've had for over thirteen years and have lived as close to a normal life as anyone could expect under these circumstances. So, for me, I don't need to be be convinced that miracles happen; I am one.

Everything it seems that we believe in, our way of life, our spiritual lives, and institutions of marriage and family are under attack. We can see with our own eyes how Satan goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. The following is a prayer for our country. I have been praying a lot for our country lately, and to be honest, I find it difficult to pray for our leaders, or those that are in power at this time. I cannot bring myself to ask God to bless them, but I do pray for their salvation, a change in their hearts, and a renewing of their minds, along with their protection, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.

A PRAYER FOR OUR COUNTRY

MOST RIGHTEOUS AND HOLY HEAVENLY FATHER,

FORGIVE US LORD FOR WE AS A NATION HAVE SINNED. YOU ARE A MOST RIGHTEOUS AND JUST GOD AND IT IS RIGHT FOR YOU TO JUDGE US HARSHLY.
WE HAVE BECOME COMPLACENT, LAZY, AND FAT WHILE DEVELOPING AN ATTITUDE OF ENTITLEMENT AND EXPECTATION. WE HAVE TAKEN YOU FOR GRANTED, SIR , FOR WE HAVE ALLOWED MATERIALISM, SELFISHNESS AND COVETOUSNESS TO ENTER INTO OUR THOUGHTS MANIFESTING IN THE WAY WE LIVE OUR LIVES. AS A RESULT, WE ARE DRIVEN TO WORK LONG HOURS AT THE EXPENSE OF BEING THE HEAD OF THE FAMILY AND FORCE THE MOTHERS OF OUR CHILDREN TO ENTER THE WORKPLACE. BY DOING SO, WE HAVE OPENED THE DOOR TO ADULTERY, AND BROKEN MARRIAGES WHILE AT THE SAME TIME WE HAVE HANDED OVER OUR CHILDREN FOR OTHERS TO RAISE AND BE TAUGHT THE WAYS OF THE WORLD WHICH WE KNOW ARE NOT YOUR WAYS. OUR CHILDREN ARE BEING TAUGHT TO BE POLITICALLY CORRECT, TO BE TOLERANT AND GIVE ACCEPTANCE TO THOSE OF OTHER ALTERNATIVE, PERVERTED LIFESTYLES.

WE HAVE ELECTED PUBLIC OFFICIALS, ALL THE WAY UP THE LADDER, FROM THE LOCAL LEVEL TO THE TOP TO THE PRESIDENCY BECAUSE THEY STAND FOR SOME SELFISH SPECIAL INTEREST THAT WE HAVE. NOW, WE FIND OURSELVES AT THE MERCY OF OUR OWN GOVERNMENT WHO IS USING DECEPTION AND LIES TO MANIPULATE US INTO ACCEPTING THEM TO BE OUR PROVIDERS INSTEAD OF YOU. THESE ARE THE SAME ONES WHO ARE TRYING TO HAVE ANY REFERENCE OF YOU REMOVED FROM OUR PUBLIC BUILDINGS AND OUR MONEY WITH THEIR FALSE PROMISE OF PROVIDING FOR US FROM OUR CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

WE HAVE LEGALLY ALLOWED THE MURDER OF INNOCENT UNBORN BABIES WHILE SPARING THE LIVES OF HARDENED MURDERERS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE AND THEIR CHILDREN GOING ABOUT THEIR DAILY WORK. WE HAVE ALLOWED YOUR CHURCH TO BECOME CORRUPTED, PERMITTING FALSE DOCTRINE, WORLDLY ENTERTAINMENT AND APOSTASY TO ENTER IN. MANY OF OUR CHURCH LEADERS ARE LIVING IN SIN AND ARE ALLOWING SIN TO BE CARRIED OUT IN YOUR CHURCH. IN OUR FEEBLE EFFORTS TO ADVANCE YOUR KINGDOM TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS, WE RESORT TO WORLDLY METHODS AND ATTRACTIONS INSTEAD OF TAKING THE UNFETTERED, UNMITIGATED AND UNADULTERATED WORD OF GOD TO THE PEOPLE. TOO MANY OF US HAVE BECOME LIKE THE MONEY CHANGERS IN THE TEMPLE WHICH YOUR SON JESUS SCOURGED WITH A WHIP, TURNING OVER THEIR MONEY TABLES.

WE HAVE ABANDONED ISRAEL, TO FACE HER ENEMIES THAT OVERWHELMINGLY SURROUND HER, CONDEMNING HER IN THE EYES OF THE WORLD AS SHE TRIES TO PROTECT HER PEOPLE AND HOLD ON TO THAT LITTLE PIECE OF LAND WHICH YOU GAVE HER.

WE CONFESS THAT WE HAVE LOST SIGHT OF YOU, LORD, AND WE PRAY FOR MERCY NOW THAT OUR WORLD IS COLLAPSING ALL AROUND US, FOR NOW WE SEE THAT WE ONLY HAVE YOU TO LOOK TO FOR OUR SALVATION. SAVE US LORD. SAVE US FROM OURSELVES. OPEN THE EYES OF YOUR CHILDREN, LORD, AND HELP US TO UNITE UNDER YOUR BANNER. WE PRAY FOR REVIVAL, SIR, ON A GRAND SCALE, THE LIKES THE WORLD HAS NEVER SEEN BEFORE, THAT IT WILL LEAVE NO DOUBT IN ANYONE, ANYWHERE, THAT THERE IS INDEED IS A GOD IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. WE PRAY THAT ONCE AGAIN THAT THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WILL BE THAT BRIGHTLY SHINING LIGHT UPON THE HILL THAT EVERYONE IN THE WORLD WILL SEE. WE PRAY THIS PRAYER IN THE NAME OF JESUS. AMEN.

PRAY FOR YOUR LEADERS WHETHER YOU LIKE THEM OR NOT

With all that is going on in Washington here lately, and with the seeds of discord finally starting to take root, there's been a showdown of sorts in the House of Representatives and the Senate over the US Government take over of our health care system. As more and more people discover what's in the bill that is being presented, citizens are raising their concerns in ways the party in power did not expect. There is such resistance for such a large scale overhaul of a system that most people now say isn't broke; that it is only a way of establishing Socialism as the type of government that the party in power wants to do business. The party in power is now reeling from the fact that their plan which they tried to push through without people first getting to find out what's in the bill, is being rejected and their approval numbers are crashing, and the President's job approval rating is declining at a rapid rate. Political experts all thought that since the party in power had a super majority in the House and a filibuster proof majority in the Senate, this entire scheme would be a slam dunk. The party not in power is now saying, that they are unified against this bill and if it goes through without bipartisan support, that there would be a massive overhaul of the House and Senate in next year's elections.

WHY CONFLICT RESOLUTION WON'T WORK BETWEEN ARABS AND JEWS

These are scenes at the Western (Wailing) Wall in Old Jerusalem. In the background, the Dome of the Rock, built on the Temple Mount, site of Solomon's Temple, now the third holiest site in Islam. It serves the Jews as a reminder, that they have been displaced as God's Chosen People, and in their grief, they face the wall and mourn their losses. Sometimes, we Christians become disheartened and frustrated when it seems the whole world is against us. We have Jesus' words to comfort us during such times when he said, "Be of good cheer for I have overcome the world."

Right now, many of us are experiencing economic hardship and our government doesn't seem to be able or want to do anything about it. The price of crude oil has really put a crimp in our lifestyle and what little disposable income we might have is being taken from us in the form of higher fuel costs. One side, the one not in power at the moment says, "drill here, drill now," which would bring down the cost of fuel by increasing the supply side. The other side, the one that is in power and could do something about it, won't do anything because of pressure from environmental groups that oppose any form of increasing the supply side. We are forced to buy petroleum crude from our enemies, and they are using that as a weapon against us by wrecking our economy because there is no way they can defeat us militarily in the War on Terror. Who is this enemy and why are they trying to destroy us? We buy a lot of oil from the Arabs, but they are not our enemy on paper, although our enemy lives among them. Militant Islamo-fascism is our enemy and the attack on the World Trade Towers in New York and the Pentagon in Washington on September 11, 2001 was the day we received our last wake up call. We had been given several wake up calls and it was the present President of the United States that decided to answer the call. The Taliban, Al Qaida and Muslim extremists around the world, not just in the Arab countries have been at war with us for twenty years prior to 9/11, but we did little to nothing about it. Now we have a better picture of what we're dealing with, but still there are some that have eyes, but refuse to see, and ears, but refuse to hear.

Recently, I visited the web site of the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press because I wanted to get a true feel for what the media thought about Muslims and Islamics throughout the world. What I got was a lot of polling data, and few facts. (I don't consider polling data factual; not very reliable)I didn't get information much on Islamic extremism, but poll results in a country by country list of whether a particular country had a positive, negative or neutral view on Muslims and Islam on whether they were supportive or against suicide bombings and random attacks on innocent people, including the elderly and children, and even other Muslims. There were no surprises there. In most Muslim countries, including some of our so called allies, the majority saw the necessity and approved of such extreme measures. Whenever I see a news story about this or containing this topic, it doesn't seem to matter what source, it nearly always reveals that the reporter doing the story is ignorant of world history, especially Jewish history and completely misses the reasons why this ruthless kind of violence is condoned in most of the Arab, Islamic world. This point was clearly illustrated by the United Nations and the 9/11 Commission in the months following the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York. The Commission found that the number one reason why the United States is hated by most of the Muslim world, (surprise-surprise) is because of our support for Israel. The majority of the left, demographically speaking is made up of the 18-35 age group. Since the overwhelming majority rarely go to church or Sunday School, they know little to nothing about the history of the Muslims and the Jews. For most of them, including the reporters and correspondents in the media, who are supposed to bring us the unfettered truth about what's going on in the world, history began at their birth, and the entire Jew-Arab conflict is a result of the Jews(Israelis) taking land away from the Palestinians. None of the reports that I have ever seen bothered to venture when all the conflict began, about four thousand years ago. In addition to ignorance, one has to believe in God in order to believe the stories below. Since the left don't believe in God, then these stories to them are not true, which is why they are passed off as myth or ignored altogether by the left leaning news media.

Here is a brief history lesson according to Hebrew ancient writings, mainly Genesis, the first book of the Old Testament in the Holy Bible. First of all, it was the Jews who introduced the belief, revealed the One True God, monotheism, to the world; not the Arabs, and certainly not the Muslims. In the Book of Genesis, the eleventh chapter, several generations after the great flood, in the re populated earth, a man named Abram lived in Ur, in the land of the Chaldean's. (present day Iraq between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers) In a manner best describe as being a prophetic dream, the Lord came to Abram and told him that he and his family must leave the land of the Chaldean's and go to a land He had given them, the Land of Canaan. Now, this next paragraph contains scripture from chapter twelve of Genesis, and is critical to the point I'm trying to make. It is quoted from the New American Standard Bible.

Now the Lord said to Abram,"Go forth from your country, And from your relatives, And from your father's house To the Land which I will show you, And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing, And I bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." Don't you find that fairly simple and easy to understand? One of the biggest reasons that the United States has had such prosperity, is that it stands with Israel, practically its only friend. With the exception of a couple of administrations in the past forty years, namely the Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton years, when those two presidents gave credence to Israel's enemies and known terrorist organizations. During Carter's one term, he gave us double digit inflation and interest rates, called the misery index, and the disposing of the Shah of Iran who was friendly to the United States and enabled the exiled Iyatollah Humani to tyranically take over Iran and give rise of militant Muslims and Islamo-fascism in the Persian Gulf region. Clinton had one scandal after another, the most remembered Monica Lewinsky affair, which did much to denigrate the Office of the Presidency of the United States.

Let us fast forward and skip over other unrelated stories, such as his journey into Egypt and his stay in Sodom and Gomorrah, and remain with the theme of when the conflict began between the Arabs and the Jews. We pick up where Abram and his wife Sarai were for ten years living in the land of Canaan. In a prophetic dream, God came to Abram and made a covenant with him. He said that he would give them the land from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates. However, in subsequent prophesies, God also said that the land would not become theirs until they had spent four hundred years in Egypt as slaves, and another forty years wandering in the desert when Moses would lead them out of Egypt and Joshua would take them into the Promised Land. When Abram and Sarai were in their eighties, God came to Abram and told him he would have an heir. Sarai was barren and women in their eighties don't have children. When Abram told Sarai what God had told him, she had her doubts. She had thought that God had prevented her from having children. Sarai must have thought that Abram was having delusions. Rather than disappoint her husband, she offered her Egyptian maid servant, Hagar, to him and let her bear him his child. Of course, for every action, there is a reaction, and usually with unforeseen consequences. Hagar conceived and Sarai reacted with jealousy and treated her very harshly. An angel of the Lord came to Hagar and gave her the following prophesy."Return to your mistress and submit yourself to her authority. Moreover, the angel of the Lord said to her, I will greatly multiply your descendants so that they will be too many to count." The angel of the Lord said to her further,"Behold, you are with child, And you shall bear a son; And you shall call his name Ishmael, Because the Lord has given heed to your affliction. "And he will be a wild donkey of a man, His hand will be against everyone, And every one's hand will be against him; And he will live to the east of all his brothers."

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord came to him again, and said,"I am God Almighty, Walk before Me and be blameless."And I will establish my covenant between Me and you, And I will multiply you exceedingly."And Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him saying,"As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, And you shall be the father of many nations,"And you shall be the father of a multitude of nations." God changed Abram's name to Abraham and Sarai, his wife became Sarah. God added to the covenant.
"And I will give to you and your descendants after you, the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God."God promised to give Abraham another son by his wife Sarah, named Isaac through which His covenant will be established. It must be noted here that Isaac is the child of the Promise, not Ishmael. In Genesis, Chapter 17, starting with verse 18; And Abraham said to God, "Oh that Ishmael might live before Thee!"
But God said, "No, but Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.
"As for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I will bless him and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. "But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this season next year."




So, Abraham had two sons, but only one would be the heir, and that would be the child of the promise. Abraham loved Ishmael, but the older lad picked on his younger half brother, out of jealousy and mocked him. This angered Sarah and she went to Abraham and complained about it. She demanded that Hagar and her son Ishmael be driven away, that Ishmael will never be a co-heir with Isaac. Hagar left with her son, Ishmael and settled in the land of Paran. To make a long story short, the descendants of Isaac became the Jews and the descendants of Ishmael became the Arabs, and the two have been at odds with each other ever since.



What about the Palestinians? First of all, there were never was a land called Palestine. General Edmund Allenby of the British Army, early in the last century, drew the boundaries of the present day middle east and he named the the land of ancient Israel, Palestine. The people that lived there were naturally called Palestinians. Where did the Palestinians come from? For that, we must go back to the Abraham's son of the Promise, Isaac. Isaac also had two sons; the older named Esau and the younger named Jacob. From the story in the ancient Hebrew scripture, Esau sold his birthright to his younger brother for a bowl of lintels. Jacob, using deception tricked his father Issac into given his blessing intended for his older brother, to him. Jacob and Esau separated and Esau and his descendants settled in a region south of Canaan called Moab. Jacob had twelve sons and each of them became one of the twelve tribes of Israel. Jacob's, just as his grandfather's name had been changed, name was changed to Israel. Esau's descendants all but died out, but some intermarried with people in Gaza called the Philistines, who became a perpetual thorn in the side of Israel. Some of the other descendants of Esau intermarried with the sons of Ishmael and became the Idumeans. When Israel was taken into exile by the Babylonians, the Idumeans moved into the vacated land. However seventy years later, the Israelites returned to find their land squatted upon. There was a lot of violence and bloodshed, because the Idumeans thought that Israel had given up their right to own the land when they were in exile. Rome then moved in to take control of the region. In Jerusalem, Herod Agrippa, was installed as the puppet King of Judea (Israel) by Julius Caesar. His son Herod the Great, and his son Herod Antipas, all cruel and wicked tyrants, were not Jews, but Idumeans, the present day Palestinians. So if you think that killing children is something born from jihad, you are wrong. From the capital, Jerusalem, Herod the Great, issued a decree that all the children two years old and younger in Bethlehem slaughtered when he heard from the three wise men that a new king, the messiah, the King of Kings, (Jesus Christ) was to be born there.

Rome, put down the Jewish rebellion at Masada, their last stronghold, and in a.d. 70, the Jews were dispersed throughout Europe. It was after the Jewish Holocaust in the 1940's that the few Jews that weren't killed, or survived the concentration camps, returned to the state of Israel, set up by the United Nations and the United States given them as a homeland, which was rightfully theirs in the first place. Once again, in 1948, they returned and had to fight for possession of the land that God had given to them. In 1967, in the Six Day War which was started by Egypt, Syria and Jordan, in an attempt to drive the Jews out, Israel took back all the land which God had given them. This included the Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula, the Jordan West Bank, land in Egypt east of the Nile River, and all of divided Jerusalem, in which the capital was moved from Tel Aviv. In typical naive, liberal conflict resolution, little by little, treaties and land for peace deals by European third party negotiators,(Oslo Accord) all favored everyone but the Israelis; have eroded their boundaries, save for Jerusalem, back to where they were before the Six Day War. This precedent was set and meant for the Jews only; where else has there ever been a country required to give back land they captured in a war that the other side started?

Finally, where did the Muslims come from? The Assyrians, Babylonians, Meades, Persians, and Egyptians, were all pagans, idol worshippers. Only the Jews believed in the One God, Jehovah. It was about six hundred years following the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the establishment of the early Christian Church, after much of the Roman Empire and Greece, and Asia Minor had converted to Christianity, that the Prophet Muhammad entered the scene. Muslim believers call Muhammad the last and greatest Prophet. Born in A.D. 570, in Mecca, their holiest city, the religion was founded by Muhammad and based upon both Jewish and Christian beliefs, and mixed in some new ideas and theology along with some of their inherent pagan practices. Actually, they picked the good parts, and discarded the parts that didn't fit their uniquely different beliefs, but made their own versions of laws; for instance, Love your friends and hate your enemies. Kill the infidels where they sleep. Originally, Muhammad was a merchant, searching for something to believe in, has a religious experience that changes not only his life, but the history of a large part of the world. He hears a divine voice, later believed to be the angel Gabriel of the Christian religion, tell him that Allah is the only god. He receives further instructions to adopt the name of "Prophet" and convert the Quaraish(parishioners) to accept the monotheism.The Quaraishs resist the new religion. Muhammad and his small band of followers migrate to the town of Yathrib in the north, which is open to his new faith. They change the name of the city to Medina (the city of the prophet) which is where most of their military campaigns are launched. If Muhammad lived in today's society, he would be branded a child molester for taking a nine year old wife. He was supposed to have ascended into heaven from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem riding a white horse, but that of course was a fabrication, to give him parity with Jesus and the prophet Elijah. Following the death of Muhammad, Islam, by the power of the sword, is spread by war and violence. Struggles within the hierarchy are decided by murder and assassination. When the militant followers move into a new territory, the local people are given an option of, convert or die. This is the way it always has been and still is to this day, no matter how they try to defend or dignify their actions. The murdering of Christians in Dar fur and in Nigeria, causing strife and destruction around the world, proves my point. Calling themselves the religion of peace is a lie from hell itself; there can only be peace when the entire world is Islam. Remember the words of Jesus, "beware of false prophets, for they are ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing." And these words, "the enemy (Satan) comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come to give life and to have it more abundantly."

If you listen to Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, it will demonstrate their intolerance and mission of hate. According to an undercover law enforcement officer of my acquaintance, in almost all of the mosques that he has been in, the message of hate and intolerance are being spewed routinely. The mosques are being closely scrutinized in this country, and some have been known to raise funds for our enemies in Iraq and Afghanistan. So called freedom fighters by the left wing liberal media (in reality, terrorists) are given sanctuary; all within our own borders. One expert on Islamic and Muslim affairs has said that there are 1.3 billion Muslims in the world. One in ten want to kill you where you sleep; that's 130 million Muslims, would kill you if given the chance. It is my opinion, and I'm not exclusive in this belief, that the radical Muslims are the ones who left the main body of fundamentalist hate mongers and moderated to peaceful coexistence with their non Muslim neighbors. From all that I have learned, it is the mainstream Muslims who are the ones who bask in violence and perpetuate the doctrine of hate.

Probably, the main reason why there has been so much opposition in this country and in Europe to the war in the Persian Gulf region is because of the inability of many to understand the nature of our enemies. They just can't see why we all just can't get along, hold hands and sing kum ba ya. Add to that the element of ignorance and you have a dangerous combination. Because of immigration, open borders and a much higher birth rate, Europe is being taken over from within by Muslims and a lot native Europeans don't realize it. Muslims in France and the United Kingdom are making a lot of noise, and governments are being forced to deal with their demands.

There is a bright side to all this. First, victory is within grasp in the War on Terror. Al Qaida is on the run and is mainly concentrated in Afghanistan near the Pakistan border, and a new move of moderation is beginning to happen among Islamics in the Persian Gulf region. The hard liners are finding it extremely difficult to recruit new suicide bombers and things are all around are a vastly improved; a lot better in Iraq and Afghanistan than it used to be. Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaida are playing their last hand and placing all their bets on a Democrat victory in November. Hopefully, the right man will be elected President in November, and those who are making life difficult for you will voted out of office. If the Republicans win in November, or least hold ground in the House and Senate, we can prevail Remember, we as Christians are in spiritual warfare and we have to fight a spirtual war in spiritual terms. As the Apostle Paul wrote, "we war not against flesh and blood, but of the rulers, against the powers, against the principalities of darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12

So, why does the media not tell you the truth regarding why all this is? I assure you that it is a lot more than what a liberal friend told me, "you can't say all that in a two minute report with two or three soundbites."

WE WAR NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD

The Presidential Election of 2008 is the most important election since our nation was founded 232 years ago. Never before has there been so much at stake. There are evil forces including some of our own who have been deceived by the eloquent, soft spoken words of one, Barack Hussein Obama, a charismatic figure, speaking in platitudes about hope and change for the future, being used to advance his quest to become not only President of the United States, but the Leader of the World. Make no mistake about it; the people of God are under attack, and to listen to the news reports, we are losing, big time.

Our enemy presents himself as a Citizen of the World someone who cares about seeing that everyone is treated fairly and the same. His plan is to join with the other Socialist nations of the world in ending poverty everywhere on the planet. To do this, they will take from those prosperous nations and give it to those that aren't. Of course, he'll start in his own country, the United States, by redistribution, the largest transfer of wealth in the history of the world; taking from those who earned it and giving it to those who didn't. He will resort to the old divide and conquer scheme using class envy and warfare to wedge this through.

How does a man who has admitted to prior illegal cocaine and marijuana use; who won't release his medical records to assure us that he is drug free and not still using illegal drugs, have within his grasp as being the President of the most powerful nation on earth? How does a man who embraces a Marxist ideology and associate himself with other Marxist radicals and terrorists in the name of William Ayers be on the verge of being elected to the highest position in the land? How does a man who has been caught in one lie after another and not be held accountable be only a week away from being the leader of the free world? How does a man become an instant celebrity with a devoted and unquestioning following; some even referring to him as "messiah?" The answer reduced to the lowest common denominator is this: He is the Angel of Light the Word of God warns us about. The Apostle Paul wrote again in 2 Corinthians 11: 13-15, "For such men are false prophets, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. "And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. "Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their deeds."

We are just one week away from election day. Already, early voting is taking place in various parts of the country, and the lines are long. Another voter record turn out is expected. Even though the polls are indicating that the gap is gradually closing, candidates John McCain and Sarah Palin are behind. Some say it will take a miracle for them to make up the difference and win. Frankly, I believe in miracles, and miracles begin in the spiritual realm. Believe me when I say we are engaged in spiritual warfare. As the Apostle Paul wrote, "We war not against flesh and blood, but of the rulers, against the powers, against the principalities of darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places."

Dear Praying Friend,

In 2000, I wrote the 2nd most important letter of my life—a call to prayer for the elections of that year. I'm now writing what may be my most important letter. I knew the importance of those elections in 2000 was beyond any in my life up to that point and that the spiritual warfare surrounding them would be unlike anything any of us had ever seen. That letter was read by millions of people and I believe millions of them responded by praying. I also believe the prayers turned the tide.You may question whether President Bush was the right choice; obviously, he has made some blunders in his tenure as president. But two of his decisions alone left no doubt he was God's choice: Roberts and Alito.These two Supreme Court Justices have proven critical in the process of breaking the hold of humanism, death and anti-God agendas that have ruled the Court for 50 years. I assure you that more devastation—the shedding of innocent blood, immorality, decay of the family and an erosion of our godly heritage—has flowed into our nation through that institution than any other door in America. Many times more. The poison allowed into America through their decisions is beyond any of our abilities to articulate. The reality in America is that you don't need to control Congress or the White Hose to rule the nation. You only need 5 people – 5 out of 9 on the Supreme Court. And for decades those who disagree with just about everything you and I stand for have been in control!In Bush's two terms, the process of turning this around began with the appointments of Roberts and Alito. Now, we win some cases 5-4 and lose some 4-5. (We barely outlawed partial birth abortion. The vote of one judge saved thousands of babies from this horror.) We need one more conservative Justice for a consistent majority, then more to build a strong majority.In Obama's own words, "the next president will appoint at least one, perhaps two or more Supreme Court Justices." He's right. Almost certainly two or more older, liberal Justices are waiting until after the elections to retire, in hopes of Obama winning and appointing more liberals to replace them. And he certainly would. He voted against the confirmation of Roberts and Alito. So did Biden. And Biden led the fight against Justice Thomas several years back, another of the 4 solid conservatives. Make no mistake about it, the two of them do have a litmus test for Supreme Court Justices, and a major part of that test is Roe vs. Wade. McCain and Palin, on the other hand, both have very strong pro-life positions. This alone makes the choice for President simple. To vote for the 2nd and 3rd most liberal senators (Obama and Biden), both of whom are firmly and blatantly pro-abortion, would be unconscionable. Obama has actually said that if he wins, he would like his first action as president to be the signing of the Freedom of Choice Act, which would eliminate every other law against any aspect of abortion (partial birth abortion, parental notification, etc.). And with a democratic majority in the House and Senate, pretty much any legislation he and Biden want to pass will be a slam-dunk. There are many other unrighteous positions they hold but this position alone makes the choice easy. If they win this election, it will set America back decades in the cause of life and the restoration we seek.Just as many of you do, I too, want to see a first black President, but not Senator Obama. To allow that noble and godly desire, the economy or one's position on the war to trump this issue of life and death for the innocent unborn is simply wrong. The scriptures teach that if we choose first to exalt righteousness and turn from evil, God promises to heal our land (see Proverbs 14:34; 2 Chronicles 7:14). It is righteousness that exalts a nation, not wealth, prosperity or armies. If we will finish the process of removing the curses of death and anti-God laws off of America by electing a president that will continue to shift the Court, God will grace us with breakthrough in other areas such as the economy, the war against terrorism, etc. My faith is not in a person, and certainly not a political party, for the healing of America, but I know God's word and His ways well enough to know that our decisions do move Him to action or inaction. Now to the heart of my reason for writing this letter (I realize I am "preaching to the choir"—most of you who know or listen to me are conservative enough to vote for McCain and Palin.) I have not written any appeals for prayer concerning this election because: 1) others have, and 2) I believe our movement has matured to the point that the prayer base of the Church is already praying.But I now feel the need to raise my voice. I am appealing to you to pray for these elections the next two weeks like you've never prayed for any in the past. Faithfully. Passionately. Boldly. Ask God for His mercy and grace. We deserve His judgment for removing His influence and authority from our government, schools, homes and businesses; for the killing of 50 million babies; for leading the world in the consumption and exporting of pornography; for passing laws to reject His; etc. But mercy triumphs over judgment and in His wrath He remembers mercy. In 2000 we actually lost the popular vote and won the election—talk about grace! Please pray for this grace to be released again.But I am also asking you for something more than normal prayer. For those of you who understand spiritual warfare, I am asking you to also include this aspect of prayer. There is no doubt that we have entered a Daniel 10 moment in time: "Then he said to me, 'Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, I have come in response to your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia'" (Daniel 10: 12-13 NAS). The spiritual warfare in this election is incredibly fierce, and just as it was in Daniel's day, is all about the restoration of a nation. And also like Daniel, we must keep praying until we win the battle in the heavens.In August of this year I predicted that September would mark a shift in momentum for these elections. This happened with the appointment of Sarah Palin as the Vice Presidential nominee (who is a true Esther in our generation), but when the economy began its meltdown and the media ramped up their unprecedented attacks on Palin, that momentum wasn't sustained. But we can see it turn again if we approach this battle as the spiritual warfare it truly is and bind the evil forces involved (see Matthew 16:18-19). The reality is that this election can be the breakthrough we need to fully shift the Court (and ultimately our nation) or it will be an immeasurable setback that could take many years to reverse—if ever. Please understand what I am saying: if we engage in this battle and do what I am asking—in mass—we will win; if we do not, we will lose. I, for one, don't intend to allow the latter. I am in Washington, D.C. now (October 20-22) with Lou Engle and a team of prayer leaders from around the nation to war for this election. Join us! Lose some sleep, miss some meals— pray! Pray like never before for these elections. And as you do, involve yourself not only in petitioning prayer but also in spiritual warfare. Use your God-given authority over the plans and strategies of Satan's kingdom. Bind all witchcraft that is working to control the outcome, including occultic powers that are suppressing truth. Release Christ's Kingdom rule in every way the Holy Spirit leads you.Don't be deceived and don't lose hope (if you have to, turn off the TV.) It is not too late to turn these elections. God is plenty powerful enough to do so. The real question is will we rise to the level of prayer and spiritual warfare necessary to release that power. And remember, we don't need a majority of Christians who are willing and able to do this—only a praying remnant.. We can do it!Here are some practical suggestions to consider: 1) Fast (a meal a day; a day a week; a Daniel fast; 3 days; 10 days; TV; etc.) and spend the time praying. 2) Agree in prayer with someone everyday for God's will to be done. 3) Form/participate in prayer groups regularly. Churches could pray everyday. 4) Take time in every gathering to pray. (Take 15 minutes in every service to pray for the elections. Turn an entire service to harp and bowl style intercession—worship and prayer combined.) 5) Join 2 or more on a conference call and pray for 15, 20, or 30 minutes. 6) Pray on the way to work (and on the way home). 7) Pray before you go to sleep. 8) Pray before church services. 9) Ask God to give you His strategy—He will!

Politically, I have a lot to say, and sometimes I feel that what say about politics may offend some of you simply because you don't agree with me. So I have decided to have two blogs, one for Christians, and one for Conservatives. Also, I feel that politics should be left at the front door when entering a church as I'm certain many of you feel the same way. However, I must make it abundantly clear that I am a Christian first, and no matter what happens politically, my Lord is going to take care of me and you, too. I must say however, that when I step up to the voting machine, I am a Christian who's voting. My Christian beliefs influence the way I vote as it should with you as well. The overwhelming majority of political conservatives are Christians, and that's the big reason why conservatives are regarded with such contempt and disdain by the liberals and the left in this country. I must recognize however, that there are some liberals that are Christian, at least they claim to be Christians, or maybe think of themselves as being Christian Lite. I am reminded of a verse in the book of Revelation when the Lord is addressing the Seven Churches. He referred to the Church at Laodicea as "you are lukewarm, being neither hot nor cold, and I will spew you out of My mouth." I can think of a number of mainstream denominational churches that are lukewarm, and they have been steadily declining and evangelical churches are thriving and growing. I am not going to be the one to say that they are wrong and that only we are right, because God in His infinite wisdom will be the judge of that.

Right now, our country is divided almost right down the middle and as the scripture says, "a house divided cannot stand." There are two distinct philosophies that are warring for control in this country, liberals and conservatives. These opposing philosophies are present in both polictial parties, for there are conservative Democrats and there are liberal Republicans. For many of us, we are going through some hard economic times, and paying four dollars for a gallon of gasoline is making things worse, and the politicians are not doing anything to fix the problem. This causes a lot of trouble within the family, especially when you can't pay your bills, or the mortgage company is about to foreclose on you, and you're about to lose your home. Money problems are the main cause of divorce in the country. God never intended for His children to do without. He gave us the instruction book on how we can rise above our circumstances just by knowing who we are.

I am a firm believer in the power of prayer. Prayer by friends and family have brought me through some difficult times. Twice, I had life ending heart attacks. If I had been somewhere other than the hospital in each instance, I would have died, and as a matter of fact, I had some what I think were life after death experiences. The doctors say that the drugs they gave me can cause hallucinations and I may have had the experience of an over active imagination based on stuff I read about others having a similar experience. I don't think so. Nevertheless, I had one miracle after another. I had a heart transplant back in 1996 which is why I'm still around, but that wasn't the miracle. I had one miracle after another miracle that kept me alive long enough for me to get a heart transplant. If it weren't for the prayers of literally thousands of people praying for me, I wouldn't be here, today.

Not only do I believe in the power of prayer, but I believe in the power of the tongue. Our words have power and usually we get what our tongues are saying. For instance, if we are constantly saying that nothing goes right for me, or I can't do that, then that's precisely what the end result will be. If we are always going around repeating gloom and doom, then that's really all we can expect. We usually end up getting what we fear most. On the other hand, if we walk by faith and not by sight, and the words coming from our mouths are positive, our point of view will start a transformation in our attitude, and I firmly believe that attitude is everything. For starters, we need to know and be reminded of who we are in God. One way, in my opinion the best way, is the word confession. We have a word confession that we recite in our church service at Living Way from time to time. Below is a very detailed confession, what I call, the Bold Confession. All of the words in this confession are based on scriptures from both the Old and New Testaments, and are the teachings of the Apostle Paul and the Old and New Covenants. Recite this confession every day, and more than that, get it memorized and written down in your spirit. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the truth of everything that it is in this confession; believe it with all your heart, and do not doubt. You will soon see your attitude beginning to change, and one by one, the stone idols that were standing in your way will topple over.

I AM OF A CHOSEN GENERATION, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, AN HOLY NATION.

I AM A CHILD OF GOD, A JOINT HEIR WITH JESUS, A BROTHER TO ALL IN CHRIST,

I AM BLESSED IN EVERY AREA OF MY LIFE FOR MY GOD HAS OPENED THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN AND POURED OUT BLESSINGS MORE THAN I CAN RECEIVE. I HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED, I HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH, FOR MY GOD SUPPLIES ALL MY NEEDS ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY IN CHRIST JESUS.

I AM THE FAITHFUL OF GOD. I HAVE THE FAITH TO MOVE MOUNTAINS THEREFORE NOTHING TO ME IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR FOR I CAN OVERCOME ANY OBSTACLE OR STUMBLING BLOCK PLACED BEFORE ME BY THE ENEMY. NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME WILL PROSPER.

I AM A SUCCESS WITH GOD IN EVERYTHING THAT I SET FORTH MY HAND TO ACCOMPLISH. I AM HEALED FROM THE TOP OF MY HEAD TO THE SOLES OF MY FEET. I AM HEALED FROM THE OUTSIDE IN, AND FROM THE INSIDE OUT. THERE IS NO SICKNESS, DISEASE OR INFIRMITY ANY WHERE IN MY BODY. ALL MY BODY PARTS AND INTERNAL ORGANS ARE WORKING HARMONIOUSLY TOGETHER. MY HEART IS BEING RENEWED DAY BY DAY. THE LORD IS MY ROCK, MY FORTRESS, AND MY DELIVERER, FOR HE IS A MIGHTY WARRIOR, WHO CAN SMITE THE NATIONS WITH A WORD. HIS WORD IS TRUTH AND HIS TRUTH IS A TWO EDGE SWORD. HE IS MY BANNER, HE IS MY VICTORY, HE IS MY CHAMPION, MY GLORY AND THE LIFTER OF MY HEAD. IT IS IN HIM THAT I LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE MY BEING.

I AM GOD'S COMPLETE PERSON, FOR HE HAS GIVEN ME THE KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM, POWER AND THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORD OF GOD AND OF THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. I HAVE SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT IN ALL MATTERS. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE AUTHORITY TO USE THE NAME OF JESUS TO CALL INTO EXISTENCE THOSE THINGS THAT ARE NOT AS THOUGH THEY ARE, AND WHEN I PRAY WITHIN HIS WILL AND IN HIS NAME, ALL THAT I PRAY FOR WILL BE DONE FOR ME, AND WHEN I LAY HANDS UPON THE SICK, THEY SHALL RECOVER.

I AM THE RECIPIENT OF GOD'S COVENANT BENEFITS FOR I HAVE ALL THE BLESSINGS AND NONE OF THE CURSES. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE TALENT AND THE ABILITY TO MAKE WEALTH, NOT SO THAT I CAN LAY UP TREASURE FOR MYSELF, BUT TO BE A GIVER AND A BLESSING TO OTHERS SO THAT HIS COVENANT CAN BE ESTABLISHED IN THE EARTH.

Whenever I have difficulty sleeping, or I wake up and can't go back to sleep, I sit on the edge of my bed and I repeat this bold confession. There are very few days that I don't repeat this confession, but there are other times that I repeat it more than one time a day, for instance, when I go to the doctor for my twice a year checkups. I will even repeat it when I'm in the examining room waiting on the doctor. When I was waiting for my heart transplant at Emory, I saturated myself with scripture, and I recited a rough form of this confession several times a day. The transplant was text book perfect with no complications. My heart was given to me through a prophesy by an evangelist from England who told me that God was going to give me a new heart. He didn't know me from Adam's house cat, but in two months, I had it. I no longer take the organ anti-rejection drugs and I wouldn't be surpirised if they did a dna test on my heart, it would have my dna.

This time a year ago I was in a bad way. My health had declined to the point that I didn't think that I would last another year. I had acute bronchitis, sleep apnea, and congestive heart failure with difficulty breathing associated with all three maladies. I no longer have the acute bronchitis where I was coughing up blood, and the sleep apnea where I was fearful that if I fell asleep, I wouldn't wake up because I had stopped breathing. My congestive heart failure can be controlled with a diuretic when I get bloated, and I usually get bloated when I've eaten or drank something I shouldn't have. However, I can still manage to go grocery shopping and mow the grass with a push mower, taking some breaks, and I'm able to function in my television duties at the church, and of course write two blogs and a novel. There's a lot of people my age that can't do as well I can, and I'm thankful that I can do as much as I do. I feel that I am getting stronger and the last few days, I've been feeling pretty good. I am believing that when I go to Israel this September, I will be able to do all the walking required without having to stop and rest every five minutes.

You owe it to yourself to take this Bold Confession and apply every word of it to your life, but its not enough to have the faith, but you need to worship and praise God daily, to delve deep into His Word and soon you will see a change remarkable enough that you'll be testifying to others about it. THE RELIGION OF THE LEFT: THE GRAND HOAX

I was driving down Moreland Avenue near Little Five Points, not long ago, and saw a young woman driving a Dodge Colt with bumper stickers plastered all over it. One of the bumper stickers, not the one that said "War is not the Answer", or "Give Peace a Chance", but the one that said, "Live Simply so that others may simply live, "and was next to the Christian fish symbol that had the feet added, caught my eye. My initial reaction was that I wanted to give her the middle finger salute, but being a Christian, I didn't. She was living simple, all right, and she probably was proud of the noble sacrifice she was making by "living simple so that others could simply live." I remember an evangelist saying once, "Jesus said, the poor you will always have with you." He was right, Jesus did say that. The evangelist added, "He also said, don't be one of them." I have never understood why some people have to take vows of poverty to be happy, but it really isn't about happiness; it's about guilt. To liberals, unless you are one of the elite, a person can have too much and it isn't right that Americans have so much more than the rest of the world.

According to the bicycle riding, granola bar eating, Birkenstock wearing, anti-war, dope smoking, tree hugging, environmentalist, global warming crowd, I am a global warming denier. Well, I guess even they have to be right about something once in a while. I detest being lectured to by these liberal, socialist, malcontents that blame America first for everything. I know, I know, I sound like one of the many talk radio hosts when I repeat their talking points. Unlike the talk radio personalities, my reasons for opposing the global warming or climate change hoax goes far deeper than their talking points.

All of my adult life, I have been interested in Bible prophesy, especially the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation. I have also been interested in books dealing with the topic of end time prophesy, for instance; The Late Great Planet Earth by Hal Lindsey. Lindsey's runaway best seller of the seventies was the one book besides the Bible that had the most influence on me during that time. In his book, Lindsey discusses the reformation of the old Roman Empire, that eventually becomes the United States of Europe. His prediction was reasonably accurate in that the European Union actually became the name instead, at least for now. I say at least, for now, with a reason; Lindsey predicted that there would be ten member states, but there are twenty-five in the European Union. Wait a minute, here; how can this be? Simple; everything in Europe is subject to sudden change, and no one predicted that when Ronald Reagan told Michail Gorbachev to "tear down this wall", that it would trigger the breakup of the Soviet Union into another fifteen countries. Anyone who has studied world history has seen how the boundary lines in Europe change practically every decade.

So what does this have to do with climate change or global warming? The answer is, its not about saving the polar bears, the spotted owl, or the snail darter. Its about one world government, and control. They are using the global warming/climate change hoax as a vehicle to drive their agenda, to prey upon the fears of school children, the ignorant and misinformed. These liberal socialists want America to surrender their sovereignty and join the rest of the world where they can tell us where to live, what kind of car to drive, what light bulbs to use, what kind of clothes to wear, and what subjects we are to take in school. According to them, it is America, the United States that is holding up things. I got news for them; it ain 't gonna happen as long as I have breath in my body.

The one world government is discussed at length in the prophetic books. They also talk about the Mark of the Beast, the number 666, along with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I have read the prophetic books, and I can't seem to find any kind of reference to the United States. This leads me to believe that the end time prophesies, the tribulation, and the destruction and the persecution of believers is not about us, but them, the Europeans, and those in the Middle East, and the Arab/Muslim world. Europe is being taken over by subterfuge, from within by Muslims who have immigrated there as part of the grand plan of taking over the world for Allah. The native Europeans have been in moral decline for the past forty years. One of their main past times, recreational sex includes various forms of sodomy and along with abortion, the birth rate has dropped alarmingly, where the birth rate among Muslims is about six times that of the native citizens. In the not too distant future, some Europeans are going to wake up one morning following an election and discover that they are now a Muslim nation. Already, there is a lot of dissension among native Europeans, especially in Germany and the United Kingdom. One can expect violence to break out any day on a large scale.

As of right now, the European Union doesn't have a constitution, the reason being they can't seem to come to an agreement on one. That doesn't surprise me as I look at European history. Twice, American lives were lost in liberating Europe from the Germans. When liberals try to tell me that Europeans have a higher quality life style, the kind not measured in material possessions, than Americans, its a just another in a long list of liberal lies. If they think that I want to be part of their mess and roll back my lifestyle, then they have another think coming.

The reason I am so passionate in this nonsense regarding the subject of man made climate change and global warming is that the whole thing is a hoax. I am not denying that climate change is taking place; I am denying that man is causing it. In 1992, Mount Pinatubo, an active volcano in the Philippines, erupted and spewed more sulphur dioxide and sulphuric acid, carbon dioxide and chlorofluorocarbons into the atmosphere than all the automobiles and factories in the entire history of the world since those things have been around. Somehow, nature took care of all that natural pollution just as it did in the seventies when the Exxon Valdez ran aground in the Prince Edward Sound in Alaska. Despite the millions of dollars that was spent in the most massive crude oil cleanup in history, there were millions of little nooks and crannies that weren't cleaned up. So what happened? Sun light and oxygenation took place and the crude broke down and in a year, the rocks and beaches were as clean as if no spill occurred at all. In other words, if these environmentalists had done nothing, the results would have been the same. However, this incident is still being used by the left to promote their attack on the big oil companies. Nature itself is its own worse polluter; hurricanes, flooding, volcanoes, mudslides, forest fires, all do their share of polluting, but somehow, man tips the balance and we are the ones at fault. God in His creation plan provided nature with a way to clean up its own messes, and it doesn't involve us.

Not since the founding of this country and the hammering out of our Constitution has there been so much partisanship and division in this country. I think it is satanic in origin. My opinion is, that Satan is behind all this division, and seems to be succeeding. There is a war going on between the people who go to church and those who don't. Global warming and climate change just happens to be the battlefield. Satan knows that his time is short and he is throwing everything at us. As the Apostle Paul said, we war not against flesh and blood, but of the rulers, against the powers, against the principalities of darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

Republican presidential candidate John McCain joined Democrats Hillary Roddam Clinton and Barak Hussein Obama and jumped on the global warming bandwagon. This infuriated conservatives again and it was received as another thumb in the eye. There is little doubt that McCain will be the next President, but I pray that conservatives in both parties will unite and at least get a debate started so that this subject can be brought to an end, once and for all. It has been shown that it is a "no contest" when it comes to the left trying to prove their case about man made global warming and climate change; they lose, which is why people like Al Gore refuse to debate the issue.
